Carved from the site of two Carolina plantations, Willbrook Plantation Golf Club is a course that noted architect Dan Maples has often called "One of my best!"
Located on the south end of the Grand Strand, Willbrook winds its way amid a centuries-old oak forest where nature abounds. It was recently featured on the award-winning television show "Nature Scene" for its peaceful coexistence of golfers and nature.
The par-5 15th hole, demonstrates the many challenges of the wetlands, waterways and stately oaks used in this great design.
Willbrook is known for not only the tactical play ability required, but also for the natural surroundings you'll experience. This makes it a favorite of returning women golfers.

I would like to have known there would be no beverage cart on the golf course. There was very little water available on the golf course to drink. It was 90-plus degrees at tee time and my group will not be returning for this reason. Two water coolers were empty when we got to them.

Course in great shape. Lots of challenge. Got pushed out of the pro shop and rushed to the tee box. We were 40 minutes early for our tee time and wanted to warm up and putt but got rushed on to the course. Our threesome was teamed with a fourth as the first group off in the morning, which was fine, but then they put a threesome behind us to push us all day. Starter told us NOT to pass through maintanance and not to play the front in less than two hours and 15 minutes. Needless to say we were being rushed ALL day with no ranger in sight. Took four holes to get over my anger and start enjoying the course. Shame because It was a great course and I will try it again just not with an early tee time.

What a steal for $49. This course was in immaculate condition. We loved the course. Would have been nice to have GPS since many trees come into play on this course. Will play again if I come back to S.C.

Great course. Didn't see the great wildlife talked about in other reviews. Didn't realize how much history surrounded the course. The signs talking about all the different areas of history around the course was a nice touch. Greens were in great shape, and the course was in great overall shape. Back nine is more scenic than the front.

We missed our scheduled tee times for Wednesday, 14 July thinking it was for the following day. I received a call from Steve at MBN and he said he had received a call from the Willbrook Pro shop stating that we had not showed for our tee time as scheduled for Wednesday. Steve called me to check on us and see if everything was O.K. I told Steve that I had the days mixed up, that's why we missed our tee time. Steve wanted to know if he could reschedule our tee time for the following day, which he did. I would like to say thanks to both Willbrook for letting us reschedule without charge, and special thanks to Steve for his help. This turned a great week at Myrtle Beach into a greater week. Looking forward to returning next year, and will book my tee times at Willbrook Plantation on MBN. Thanks again, Randy.

Friendly staff -l oved the course. I played it the week before as well and shot 80. Brought all the guys to play it.
