All three nines are reminiscent of those early days of golf with the "Meadows," "Highlands" and "Woodlands" nines. Tucked among towering hardwoods and the Waccamaw River, this golf course features extensive mounding, wide landing areas, and lush bermuda greens. With 27 holes there is always a chance for an "extra" 9 that will extend your enjoyment.

Highlands 9 was OK - good greens but fairways and tee boxes were very wet.
Meadows 9 had very bad conditions - everything too wet, balls plunging in fairways, fairways full of leaves.

My wife and I really enjoyed playing here. We played on Nov 2 and 5th. My only problem was our round on Thurss took 5 1/2 hours due to slow play I believe from too many people on the course.

Was a great course. Will definately play again when I return to MB. Would recommend it to others. Great use of water and sand. If I had to add 1 thing to make the course better. It would be to a have cleat cleaners on every 3 to 4 holes. Had a great time and was very happy with my round of 82.

This was a difficult course for a novice golfer to play. We played Woodlands (which was very difficult) and then the Highlands, which was not as difficult. Water, water everywhere. The course was in good shape.

Great course for the money. We made a 8:15 tee time only a few days before we played. The course was challenging (a lot of hidden water hazards) and it was in much better shape than I imagined. The only negative was the pace of play ... it took us 5:15 to play.

Had a pretty good round. It was a little humid, and being cart path only didn't help. This is the second time I have played at Aberdeen and I really like the course. I wasn't too impressed by the greens this year. They were really hard to read, and I missed a lot of easy putts that looked like there was break but there wasn't. Overall I had a good time at Aberdeen. I am returning to Myrtle Beach in September and may try to play there again while I'm there.

While there isn't really a "Scottish" feel to this layout, the layout is worthy of play. The weather was slightly less than perfect as there was 60% chance of t-storms, and even while it did rain on our round the course stayed in tip-top shape. Plenty of yardage markers and actually water markers for blind shots. Worth the persistence to keep playing in spite of the weather!

I was impressed by the condition of the course, and the variety of the hole layouts. The starter was super, in that he came out to the practice facility to retrieve my son and I and pair us up with another couple to allow us to start our round early. This was greatly appreciated! The sole negative is that the driving range was not available.

I can't say enough. We ran late for our tee time by 10 minutes and they were still able to get us out within a half hour. I would recommend this course to anyone and play on playing it the next time I'm down here.

Great course - never pushed from behind and never caught up with the foursome in front of us - played for $39 which is a bargain for a course of this quality. If you hate water - stay away!!

Great course, special permits us to golf at the special rate, otherwise would not be there. Pricing in area climbing each year we are here, seniors seem to be the ones traveling and money is budgeted, so watch the rate increases.
