Different from the previous ones but just as much enjoyable. The rough was more thick; you have to work harder to keep the ball in the fairway. Old golf course-type that was very charming & challenging. I played 2 other rounds there.

Back nine green were in terrible condition. Group in front of us stopped at the turn for 30 minutes, and we caught them at the turn. Club house was archaic, and there was no players assistant which made monitoring pace-of-play non-existent.

The course is in excellent condition. Some maintenance emphasis should be placed on the tees. Several are in need of leveling.

Getting a tee time on Long Island is tough, so a chance to play a nice course down here was an absolute pleasure. The course was in really good shape, and dealing with the staff gave me a good appreciation for "Southern Hospitality." Thanks for a great experience!

I have played Litchfield several times and this by far was the most disappointing. The staff was rude and did not make anyone in my group want to return. Other than the pro shop check in, I think Laurie, no one even remotely gave us the opinion they were gld for us to be there. Played here Friday the 26th (morning, thankfully, as it was a hot day). All 52 of us enjoyed this course, but for some reason, even our scratch golfers found this to be the toughest course of the trip. Good tee boxes, fairways, lots of water, greens a little sandy but still fast. We gave this course a solid 8.

Forgettable. I don't think that I'll play Litchfield Country Club again. There are too many other Myrtle Beach courses that I think I'll enjoy better. The course was in playable condition and the staff was unispired, which realely made the experience one that I won't do again.

Commented on December 10, 2008: "I agree with the playing the south beach area of Myrtle Beach. They started this thing called the Waccamaw Trail???? I think that is how it is spelled. It is all of the courses in that area and they are all within a few minute drive from each other. Highly ranked courses and some with deals. I love the assortment of restaurants. We tried two new ones these year. Rocco's, Northern Italian - great...a little pricey but worth it for the step out dinner. There is a brewhouse called Quigley's?????? Great casual food and reasonably priced. Rented a condo with three other guys. I think that we are going to bring the spouses and significant others this spring. Our fifth year to the area."

A lot of $$$ changed hands that day!!! Have come to love the south end of the Grand strand; great golf and can't go wrong with the restaurants down there either."

Played Aug. 1, 2008: "Everybody seemed to be in a foul mood except for the bag lady and cart lady. Starter was especially in a bad mood. No food areas were open on the course. Willbrook people were fantastic and we expected the same from Litchfield CC."
